Our main mission is to attend and support patients throughout all stages of their treatment, which usually takes long time. Once the doctor has advised the patient on the most appropriate treatment, we nurses or health technicians report on the different stages and processes of it.
We facilitate and provide our time and work so that patients communicate their needs to us, trying to create a pleasant and trustworthy environment so as they are free to raise their concerns and clarify any doubt about the treatment.
We educate on the habits of life that must be observed during the process, on the self-administration of medication (subcutaneous injections) within treatments such as: artificial insemination (IAC / IAD), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Social Freezing, as well as on the responsibility that the patients must have about their self-care throughout the process. In the case of egg donation treatment, we explain how to follow the therapies and clarify doubts about the different stages of the process. Likewise, we try to resolve the concerns that might appear, trying to make the patient feel supported, with the aim of creating an environment of calm and security.
In short, our goal within the medical team is based on the patient’s comprehensive and continuous care, as well as psychological support to reduce their stress as much as possible and help them manage the different emotions that arise during the different stages of their treatment from the closeness and trust in our team.
