Any woman can undergo any fertility treatment by utilising semen from a sperm donor, regardless of her sexual orientation or marital status.
The treatment may vary depending on your age and fertility issues. It will be necessary for you to have a blood analysis which will provide us with information on your hormonal levels. After considering the results, the doctor will advise you on the most suitable treatment for you.
By medical prescription, it is possible to perform a technique known as Shared Maternity. This treatment consists of fertilising the eggs of one of the women in the couple with donor sperm, and transferring the resulting embryos into the uterus of the other woman. The treatment is performed by way of IVF/ICSI. Please note, shared maternity is only possible for homosexual couples that are married.
