Embryo Adoption
Adoption of embryos donated from couples who have already become parents
After undergoing fertility treatment, some couples decide to donate their remaining frozen embryos. The donation is an altruistic act and it is completely anonymous.
We cannot always guarantee the phenotype (physical characteristics) will match that of the couple receiving the embryos but we do guarantee a compatible blood group.
The success rate of this technique is around 50%, because the embryos have been previously frozen. Donated embryos come from gametes of previous patients, who have undergone fertility treatment at our clinic and achieved a successful pregnancy.
Should you require donation of eggs and semen, please check our egg donation programme and details of our sperm bank.
